The Wines & Spirits division of the Aguttes auction house recorded a 150% increase in sales last year. Under Marion Quesne’s leadership over 6,000 units were sold off with some stunning transactions being made at various proceedings. In a record sale on December 3 last year, a bottle of Henri Jayer Richebourg the most expensive wine in the world, was awarded at € 7,680 .
Wineries of Romanée Conti, Coche Dury or Chave mix it in with the great Bordeaux names by the likes of Petrus, Château Margaux, Lafite Rothschild , Cheval Blanc… Champagnes and spirits are also very much sought after. Key appealing features include rarity, limited editions and age.
In order to ensure the quality and origin of the collections we present, our specialists regularly travel to private cellars and visit the vineyard owners.
