They/Them
I am queer and I am a STEM educator.//
I am a STEM educator, an advocate for inclusive and accessible learning, and a fierce lover of cats, drag queens, and science. My students know me for my obsession with space and animals with unique adaptations—but each year, I discover new wonders about our universe and have the privilege of sharing that awe with my students.
Having over a decade of experience in science education is an accomplishment, but what I find most meaningful is the ability to be visible and openly discuss queerness and neurodivergence in schools. It is an honor and a privilege to create a space where students can see themselves reflected in STEM and know they belong.
